Respect Begets Respect

 

In the entertainment industry, respect usually comes from tenure, age, and contribution. It is not easy to acquire respect from the industry's most respected people, but PABLO, as young as he is, is already one of the most respect people in the music industry. Why? True artists recognize real talent, and PABLO is one of the most talented artists of today's generation. His greatness doesn't only comes from his voice but also from his pen game and characteristic. 

The leader of the phenomenal PPOP group, SB19, who leads with humility, acceptance, kindness, and collaborative mind. According to him, he hated his voice after he hit puberty because he couldn't hit high notes the way he used to. It was even one of the biggest reason why he got into dancing. During the interview, he said that PABLO told him that he doesn't need to have a high range, that what he needed was style. Look at Ken now. A guy who's ability can push boundaries and break barriers. Someone with unique sound and an alluring deep voice. Stell came to a point when he felt overwhelmed with pressure and doubted himself but according to him, PABLO told him that he doesn't need to be the best. Just have to be proud of what he does.

Josh had always been vocal when it comes to praising PABLO. He realized that he should continue working on his craft and keep his passion. Even Justin admitted that their beloved leader is one of his favorite singers.

Anyone who would witness PABLO perform would see the passion and grit in him. He's overflowing with heart and soul whenever he steps on that stage. He doesn't just sing or dance, he tells a story. He carries his audience into a world where we will be forced to face our deepest darkest demons and conquer them. PABLO never even thought of being in a group. He was offered to be a solo artist. When he was placed in a group and was tasked to lead, imagine the amount of pressure he felt. I find this ironic because in the beginning, PABLO wasn't even credited for the songs he wrote for the group. If not for A'tin fighting for him to get the credit he deserved, their old management would've continued on earning from the songs he, too, should've benefited from. He is the chief songwriter of the group, the composer or co-composer of most of their songs, especially the famous ones, yet he never really sought to be the only one praised for them, even when he deserved it.

Through the years, there have been so many proofs of how respected PABLO is by his group mates and the people that knows him. Despite 1z Entertainment being owned by all members of the group, they chose him to be the CEO of their artist management company. He has taken so many responsibilities that he could barely promote his twin albums when it came out. He worked with the limited time and resources he had and made the most out of it. Instead of disappointment, what he had was realizations that he could use for his future endeavors. It's one of the greatest characteristics a leader should have. To have the ability to look beyond failure or dissatisfaction and into how he could do better.

PABLO didn't demand respect, he just aimed to inspire and touch people's lives. He never wanted to be placed in a pedestal, only to be remembered for the good he had done, but by not wanting recognition, people just naturally give it to him. People with the same level of respect and artistry find it easy to look at PABLO and see the greatness in him. He doesn't have to anything except from what he has been doing all along, being him and creating music. In this world we live in, respect is no longer free, it has to be earned, and PABLO has more than earned the respect he's receiving from his brothers, the people who work for and with them, and the music industry itself.
